The reality is that no-one truly knows. However, there are things that are more likely and less likely to happen. In theory, once Article 50 is triggered, the UK will have 2 years to leave the EU. They may choose to do so before or after this time limit, BUT it seems likely that our government will ...

Getting a job is top of the list it seems!

A side question: once my wife has a temporary stamp 4 she will be legally able to start looking for jobs right?

Hi all, My non-EEA wife and I (UK citizen) are moving to Ireland to live and work. Could anyone explain how it is possible to complete an EU1 form straight after arrival? The application form asks for proof of residence and proof of employment. Of course, I hope to land a job as soon as possible and...

I am not authority on the matter but I believe that it has something to do with whether the country in question is a signatory to the Hague Convention/Apostille Convention (there's a Wikipedia article)

Hi All, Applied for EU1 at the end of July and got the Stamp4 letter just over 4 weeks from the date of lodging the application. In my case they issued a Stamp4 until the end of March 2017 which would suggests INNIS may take over 6 months to reach a final decision Now waiting for the final decision...
