Wondering if citizenship can be applied from abroad? Let's say I go on holiday and get stuck there and would like to apply just to be sure that I don't exceed the 90 days limit?

Hi CR001,

In the document checklist, they have stated I need to provide "proof of living in the UK", will it be ok to cover this if I provide three month bank statements?

Thanks,
Provide scanned passport(s) covering the qualifying period, which will have entry/exit stamps.

Also, if I redirect my mail, the letter that comes as a confirmation from UKVI will be redirected or it is a special letter that will need to be delivered at my home address?
It's a normal letter, second class post, AT brown enevelope.
So should be redirected, right?

Re: Applying naturalisation ealier, possible?

Apply when you qualify, it states 12 months on ilr for a reason if not married to a British citizen. Going on holiday is not an exceptional circumstance. You were already advised when you asked in December. If that worried, apply closer to your holidays, enroll biometrics and then go on holiday. ht...

These one were recently publised, not much difference in this year's fees.
Only updated to include the global talent visas. This is likely not the fees from 6th April.
Thanks for correcting.

Re: Naturalisation process

1. Upload before your biometrics. This is answered so many times every single day!! 2. Upload yes after they have physically signed the forms. The originals will not be taken at ukcvas. There is no restriction on referees being at the same address. They simply cannot be related to you through blood...

This was closed like more than one year ago. Now you have to apply online and book biometric appointment with ukvcas. Once your application is approved and you attend ceremony, you will then be able to apply for the passport.
