Question about coming from Ireland to UK

I hope this is in the right place. If not, my apologies. I am a British man with a South African partner living in Ireland. My partner has an article 10 residence card with the stamp 4EUFAM on it. This allows her to live and work in Ireland for 5 years (extendable). However we want to go back to liv...

Stamp 4EUFAM visiting UK

Hi there. My partner just received her residence card and Stamp 4EUFAM. We are planning to travel to the UK from Dublin next month for a short holiday. Do we need to apply for a visa or will we be able to hop on the plane and go straight there? We are not married so do not have a marriage licence to...

Re: Non-EU spouse visiting other European countries

Thanks for your help. Incidentally, in what situation does a person get the EUFAM stamp 4 and not the normal stamp 4?

Re: Non-EU spouse visiting other European countries

Thanks for your reply Max. She currently holds a Stamp4 GNIB card, which expires at the end of July. We are due a decision on the permanent card any day now.

Would she need the "Stamp 4EUFAM" to be visa exempt for France? And yes we would be travelling together.

Non-EU spouse visiting other European countries

Hi there, I am a British man living with my non-EU (South African) spouse in Ireland. We are planning a summer holiday to France. I have read conflicting information online about whether or not my partner needs a visitor visa, or can she travel without a visa because she has the Stamp 4 GNIB card. C...

She was born in South Africa and her mother is South African, therefore her citizenship is currently South African.

Re: Visiting the UK with temporary stamp 4

Where are you from? Some nationals do not require a visa to visit the UK but my partner is South African and she definitely does.

Visiting the UK with temporary stamp 4

Hi all, My partner recently received her temporary stamp 4 and GNIB card. We are planning to visit the UK this christmas with our 1 year old daughter. However, our daughter never received a stamp, with the immigration garda telling us she will fall under my partner's stamp 4 when travelling. Is this...

Re: What is the processing times of Stamp 4 and Eu1 Dependen

Did they send any sort of correspondence at all? My partner applied and received a temporary stamp 4 after about 15 weeks (almost 4 months).

Re: EU1A de facto visa application

Hi there. We were in a similar position to you. I am British, my partner is South African. Together for 3 years living between SA and the UK, finally coming to Ireland in June this year. Sent our de facto application off at the start of August and she received her work visa (stamp 4) this week! As f...

Re: Non-Eu PERMITTED family succesful visa updates if availa

@sajji Any update on your case? From what I've seen so far It seems they are really not issuing temp stamp to permitted members and acknowledgement takes a little over six months Maybe we were one of the lucky ones, but my partner was just issued a temp stamp 4 yesterday as a permitted family membe...

Re: EU Treaty Rights waiting for temp stamp 4

Hi I was in this exact same position as you a few months ago so I emailed the INIS and they did indeed confirm that once an application has been submitted you have permission to remain until you receive a response, even if your 90 days are up as my partner's were. And it did take 14 weeks to receive...
