Case Escalated - spouse visa

Hey.

How long do you have to wait once your case has been escalated?
3 days back i emailed them for a status update and in reply they told me that they have escalated my case.
(I went for priority service. 8th week running)

I know exactly how you feel. I paid for the priority service too. It sucks big time!!

Thanks! Strange as before they said it was yet to be Assesed! Its been 7 weeks running! I do not think they are treating my application as priority and have taken the fee! Have u had any news? Scotsgirl? I got an update today. They said they've escalated my case to the relevant department. No idea ...

Hey!
I went for the priority service. (As stated by the UKVI, we'll get to hear back in 15 working days) 34th day, haven't heard back yet neither has my application status changed.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Yes I did send the receipt with it, but they sent it back with all the documents. Also wrote priority application on the envelope and on the covering letter that we sent. Sheeet! I never sent the receipet and didnt wrote priority on the envelope. Do you think this could be the reason for the delay?...

I have emailed them on 2 occasions same response. This week as well still waiting to be assessed. Are we suppose to attach that receipt with the other supporting documens that are sent to Sheffield?
I thought once your application is scanned when you go for your biometrics, the UKVi would automatically know if its priority or not. :/

There he paid the extra priority fees and he was given a receipt and was assured that it's sent through priority service plus he'll get thr decision very sooon. So no, didnt se...
