Update to my situation - applied for EEA QP for myself and EEA FM for my non-eu spouse.  Application sent - 24.03.2017 Application received - 27.03.2017 Payment taken - 29.03.2017 Acknowledgement email - 26.05.2017 Took them 2 months to just send me this email. I wonder how long processing everythin...

Just called the line for enquires for Europeans at 0300 123 2253 and was told I should wait the biometric letter for 10 weeks. If nothing is received after this period, I should call them again... :roll:

Me again! Got back to say we got married in Gibraltar. I need your help, guys, into guiding me for next steps. Seeing I'm EU citizen, I have been advised that we can forward our documents for the Family permit with him being here in the UK. Is that true? Thank you!

First of all, Casa, thank you for your reply. I understood it's not going to be easy... so, what would you suggest? Would a marriage outside UK would be more helpful? Or a civil partnership done in another country? Would that be recognized here?
