Re: UK Born child - Process ?

No premium service available for MN1, however I'd advise you to apply through your local Nationality Checking Service (NCS). Ask for Joint Nationality Checking and Passport Service will save you time and hassles.

Re: UK Citizens entering UK on foreign passport

Hi,
Once received the certificate of Neutralisation, you're British.
ILR or any other leave or stamp is irrelevant.

You should apply for British Passport, why not?

Re: Form MN1 - Register the child as British citizen

You quoted a section 3(5) extract. Mother will need proof of father's ILR and passport. Father has been granted ILR (confirmed) but the problem is he will not provide copy of ILR or Passport or consent. He is not willing to help at all. Mother does have residence order. As per BNA s1(3) child born ...

Further, GUIDE MN1 on page 28 says: SECTION 7: CONSENT TO THE APPLICATION For section 3(5) it is a legal requirement that both parents consent to the application. In the case of widowed, divorced or separated parents, this only applies to one parent. If the child’s parents were not married, only the...

Congratulations
I'd like to share that, this "premium service" used to be free for everyone.
We used to go to Croydon for our student visa extension and there were no fees. 100% free. :)

Islamic Nikha - Decree Absolute

Hi,
Need some clarification.

Married in the UK (Islamic nikha only), it was not a civil or registered marriage.
Now got a divorce certificate from sharia council.

Do I need to apply for a decree absolute (divorce certificate) from a UK court?

Thanks

Re: Will Form T be rejected?

Hi, Proof that the child has been in the UK for the first 10 years of life: It is a good idea to enclose the Red Book because this will give a record of your child’s first few years through weighing and measuring and immunisations. Any doctor’s or hospital letters are helpful. Don’t ask your GP for ...
