Re: Applying for child's passport, parent on LLR

Thanks CR001

So parents' status is irrelevant in this case as the child is already British?
What documents do we need to send for the passport?

Thanks

Applying for child's passport, parent on LLR

Hi,

Please help

Can a child apply for British passport?

Previously child applied for registration as British Citizen using Form-T.
Child already has received the certificate of registration from the HO.
Both parents are on limited leave to remain.

Thanks

Hi, As this is a public forum and we do not know the full details therefore I would be difficult to anyone to give you advice. It would be better if you talk to local citizen advice bureau or a qualified lawyer. Now, check if he has the parental responsibility? A father usually has parental responsi...

Re: FLR(FP) 7 YEARS CHILD

Hi, What was the age when your child came into this country? At the time of application they were 16 (minor) and 19 (an adult, no longer a child) am I right? Even if a child born in the UK (not in your case) and have spent 7 years, still the home office refuses the applications. 7 years of residence...

Re: identical electronic and "official" bank statements

HO means original documents !

Option 1: Order paper statements ( those should be free ).
Option 2: Get those printed statements stamped by the bank.

Re: Urgent help needed for claiming benefits, please help

If you claiming benefits (on low income) or your partner not meeting KOLL requirements = FLR (FP) 10 year route.

Yes, submit all those documents (original) with a covering letter explaining your situation including financial situations.

If one parent was British citizen at the time of birth, the child can apply for British passport.

Re: ILR after 6 Year Discretionary Leave.

OK, so once the child get the ILR (after 6 years of DL) as she will complete 6 years of DL this year,
she needs to wait for one year or so for her parents to get the ILR before she can apply for BC?

Re: ILR after 6 Year Discretionary Leave.

Child DOES NOT need ILR to register as British. Once either parent is granted ILR, the child is entitled to register as born in the UK. Child was granted leave 1 year before the parents....! so child will complete 6 years of DL before parents, and will be able to apply for ILR before parents :) the...

Re: ILR after 6 Year Discretionary Leave.

Thanks CR001,

Leave will expire on 20/10/2017 but and as per my calculations 6 years will be completed on 2/8/2017, am I right? if yes, so we can apply for ILR 28 days before 2/8/2017 using SET(O) at PSO?

Thanks

Hi, Your wife, you said, is British national and at the time of the birth of your baby she was British so your baby is also British. If your name is on the birth certificate HO can't remove you from the UK, if that's your fear. Breaking a family apart is absurd and against human rights. However, HO ...
