Re: T1 HS Entrepreneur to SET(LR)

Hi noajthan, thank you for the update. When you say Legal Agreement means legal agreement, do you mean it needs to be on some type of stamp paper? Because all I have so far is the normal company agreement which is on the company records and the minutes for meetings. Well, I was not aware of the cha...

When is a postal application counted as "in-time"?!

This is something I am a little confused about. Does the "in-time" terminology refer to when the application was posted or when it was received by the Home Office? E.g- 1. Would an application be considered "in-time" if it was posted on the last day of the visa which reaches the ...

Re: T1 HS Entrepreneur to SET(LR)

I hope someone looks at this soon, Literally running against time here. Legal agreement for DL means legal agreement. And you should have stopped contracting back in 2014 even if it was permitted before extension. Hi noajthan, thank you for the update. When you say Legal Agreement means legal agree...

Re: Have I Broken Continuous Residency?

Thank you very much Vinny. A quick question, I was granted the T1 visa on the basis of a contract with an agency. I continued to work via that agency until September 2015 because I became aware that Home Office does not allow working via agencies anymore. At this point I stopped working via agencies...

Re: T1 HS Entrepreneur to SET(LR)

no need to submit any business related documents with your application . I got approval while on this visa without any additional documents. Oh wow... Thanks for that, so could you please explain your case a bit more in detail? A few points to highlight if you could please. Were you on PSW before a...

Contracting through an agency (or otherwise) is not permitted while under Tier 1 Entrpreneur. Is this the thread you were referring to? http://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tier-1-entrepreneur-visas/tier-1-contracting-t208516.html Yes, and the other post - http://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tier-1-...

Re: T1 HS Entrepreneur to SET(LR)

Hi All, I was about to send my SET(LR) form with all the relevant documents as discussed earlier but then came across a thread here talking about the type of work carried out on T1 Entrepreneurship Visa. When I initially applied for the Visa 3 years ago in January 2013, I had a contract with an agen...

Re: T1 HS Entrepreneur to SET(LR)

If you're willing to travel, you may get an earlier appointment at Solihull PSC. Yeah I thought that, checked all of them other than the Glasgow one, there is no appointment available before the 30th. I do not want to be a overstayer and then go for in person application. I am thinking probably I s...

Re: delay in ILR Application

Looking at the delays I am getting worried because I am going to apply for my ILR next week as well. Can somebody confirm if the delays are mainly on the SET(O) applications or SET(LR) as well? There are delays on both routes if applying by post. Thanks a lot for the clarification. Much appreciated.

If you left the UK prior to expiry of leave, then I believe there is no requirement for you to apply for entry clearance within 28 days. Time spent outside the UK A person who is outside the UK will not be in breach of the Immigration Rules. You can overlook a period of unlawful residence if the ap...

There may also be some ambiguity with the "valid until" or "expiry" date. Thanks a lot Vinny. I couldn't find anything specific on the home office website about this following the link you provided in that previous thread from 2013. I hope it will be considered in my favour as t...
