Re: Applying Tier 2 dependent visa

The fees and IHS are based on the length of your CoS, which if it is 3 years, they pay three years. Note that the fee for 2 year or 3 year is the same, it is the 'up to 3 years' option but is completely based on the length of your CoS assigned to you by your sponsor. The IHS also? I remember I will...

Re: Applying Tier 2 dependent visa

I mean:

Let say: Tier 2 (general visa) from 01/2020 to 01/2023 (3 years visa),
I want to apply Tier 2 dependent visa on 01/2021. (So it will be 01/2021 to 01/2023) (2 years)

So, it will not full 3 years visa?

Re: Tier 4 visa switch to Tier 2 sponsor visa

Thanks for your reply.

So if my CoS is 5 years (employee decide, and not me to decide 5 years or 3 years).
Then the salary must be above £30,000 p.a.

Is that correct?

Re: Tier 4 visa switch to Tier 2 sponsor visa

Hi, thanks for your reply. What is the meaning of min 30k? RMTL is not required for Tier 4 to Tier 2. If your cos is for 5 years, the relaxed rules for tier 4 students switching to tier 2 are not applicable. If your cos is for 5 years, you are classed as an experienced worker and not a new entrant ...

Re: Tier 4 visa switch to Tier 2 sponsor visa

Thanks for your explanation. It is very helpful. I have not get any confirmation on the salary from the company. But I heard there must be a certain threshold salary to apply for Tier 2. Q1: Is it correct that for the minimum salary is £20,800? Ref: https://www.ukcisa.org.uk/blog/6657/Tier-4-to-Tier...
