well, I have applied just after my ceremony and used Check & Send at my local Post Office. As far as I know unless you apply through JCAP scheme you dont need to have your interview. And text I received people receive after their interview. Had no interview and letter.....

it was not JCAP. Ive applied through the Post Office myself. That's why a bit surprised (??)

Do you always have interview when applying for first passport? got text message saying as per below but never had interview invitation letter.

thank you I know I can track it that way (once delivered to passport office) but the fact I don't know what is happening with my certificate and originals between post office branch and HMPO makes me paranoid as no delivery tracker number given threfo can't track it. Just cannot see benefits of send...

Just wondering if it was a waste of £10 paying PO for checking my passport application as can't even track it as they don't give tracker number although they use Special Delivery service. So how do I know where my originals and form are now?...Heard that no one gets tracker number only bar code that...

just realised that my previous one was destroyed when new one was issued at embassy.

forgotten to ask did you apply through NCS or yourself post application? As heard that people get combined letter approval/invitation when they apply through NCS and two separate letters when apply themselves. Again not sure for 100% if this is true or just all depends of case worker or local counci...

I did contact them but asked when is next ceremony and how to book privately just wonder questions. But they said if they receive my certificate they will call to let me know. Some guys here were saying it is good to ask your council for an update just to have brief idea. But again this is a persona...

Same here. A week gone since approval letter. Did you try to contact your council? Heard horror stories of people never receiving invitation letters....hope you get it soon mate. I also contacted my council and no certificate so far..
