Cos date change

Hi all, My employer applied for a 5 year COS but we will apply for a 3 year Tier 2 visa. In this case, I think they have to change the date to 3 years on COS as well. I read on this forum that someone's visa got rejected as the visa request was not the same length (of time) as the COS. Is it easy to...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 employer question

My notice period is actually 4 weeks as I have been working for them for almost a year now. So if I apply to switch my visa middle of next week, without the priority service, can I still work with my current employer until the end of my notice period (5th of January) because I am guessing that they ...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 employer question

Thank you, in this case, I will apply for a Tier 2 visa first week of January. In this case, would it be okay? I guess the important part is the start date on the Tier 2 visa in this case. Also, my current employer has to cancel the COS they assigned to me, and for that she email the business help d...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 employer question

thanks but could you please explain how that would be fine? Because if my Tier 2 visa ties me to a certain company, how can I work with the other one? I know once I get tier 2 my tier 4 will not be used.

Thanks

Tier 2 start date

Hi all, I'm planning to switch from tier 4 to tier 2 general. My sponsor company is hesitating to agree on a start date until they know that they can have a COS allocation before the expiry date of my visa in the middle of January. That's why in the contract we did not put a start date however isn't...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2-help with licence and CO

Thank you for your response. Let's say the person handling the account has left without handing it over, if they contact that person and get the details can they switch the authorisation to someone in HR quickly and smoothly ? I guess once we sort that out we can request the unrestricted COS and kee...

Hi, I am currently on a Tier 4 visa which is expiring on 17th of January. Finally a company I interviewed with is willing to sponsor my Tier 2 visa but they are clueless about the visa process. So my questions are: 1. The HR is not sure if they have the sponsorship licence. But I can see the company...
