Re: Permanent Residence Card - Processing Time 2017

Hi all, I've sent my PR application on 6th of April 2017. I've not received a confirmation email at all, but I've noticed a transaction on my bank account from 'EURO' for £65 - is this the PR fee? Banks could really do a better job describing recipients by the way. I've got a confirmation of recorde...

Re: Student Registration Certificate

I'm pretty sure it was my dad who applied on my behalf, I was at the Uni at the time. I'm sure there was some sort of question/issue about my position within the application, which leads me to believe the issue was about me applying as part of family vs student, which in turn I think means I've sett...

Student Registration Certificate

Hi. I've got a Registration Certificate, I'm not sure if I made the application as a student. How can I distinguish a student Registration Certificate from a regular one?

Re: Naturalisation and University Comp Sickness Insurance

I think that's what I'm gonna do, despite my RC card is blue (I guess it wasn't applied for as student card, it was done as part of a family application).

Thanks for your help.

Re: CSI for students before 20 June 2011

Are student RCs yellow? I've got an RC from before June 2011, I was a student at the Universtiy back then, I think the application was made for entire family, but my card is blue.

Re: Naturalisation and University Comp Sickness Insurance

In the application, there are questions about my employment history. Since I want to apply based on the last 5 years, am I required to submit the employment history over past 5 years or since the day of entry to the UK?

Re: Naturalisation and University Comp Sickness Insurance

Excellent, I'm quite lucky to have the card in the transition period.

I'll try sending the printed version, hope to have this resolved ASAP.

Is there a particular regulation I should be quoting for this?

Thank you for sharing your expertise on this with me, it's a life saver!

Re: Naturalisation and University Comp Sickness Insurance

Thanks for the reply Ohara. There is a transitional arrangement which exempts those who applied for a registration certificate as a student before 20th June 2011. When did you apply for yours? My RC has been issued in February 2011. I'm from EEA, so I'll be required to have settled status, which is ...

Naturalisation and University Comp Sickness Insurance

I was happy as a Larry filling in my citizenship application when I came across a requirement for a Permanent Residence Card (PRC), which I thought I had. It turns out what I do have is actually a Registration Certificate. I proceeded with my application for Permanent Residence Card then. I finished...
