Does anyone know if you can apply for a FLR(IED) outside of the US? I am only in the UK for 15 business days in November, and then am off to China for work in December.

Ashekt, you can send a prepaid envelope to get your documents and passport back? Wow. I did not realize that. I looked online and it seems that you can either buy a 5 pack of Special Delivery 9AM envelopes for £52.50 or a 5 pack of Special Delivery Next Day envelopes for £22.50. Has anyone else done...

And a followup to Darn's question. Do they frown upon an Urgent Treatment being filed? The reason I ask is that I can't physically file earlier than 6 November, but I have to return to the States on 26 November for the holidays. Of course I would say that I have a business trip back to the states.

Thanks for the tips. Here is another question, can you file for the extension outside the country? I was thinking that I could apply whilst back in the US for work. But I am assuming that they don't like to mail your documents back to the US do they?

Question, I was reading the Home Office's advice on HSMP Extension and they say not to file any earlier than 5 weeks before expiration. Mine expires on 1 January 2007. The problem is that I have to be in Beijng in December, so I was going to file 6 November 2006. Is that too early? Will it negativel...
