destinationUK2007, To be honest 37K GBP in London is a good salary. But IT is not the top profession here as in India. So its ok. But there are other factors as well :- 1. Indians like US because the houses are big and open where as London(or Uk to some extent) has smaller houses and they are bloody...

I dont think Home Office will issue a letter. You can show your employer the policy on HO website and you should be fine. Its employers resposibiliy/decision to employ legal people. As long as you are legal, HO should not have any problem neither should your employer. Browse the policy on the site, ...

Guidance notes are quite clear on this. 1. You need to supply IELTS 6.0 or above OR 1. Provide a letter from Bachelors degree (equivalent of British degree) awarding institution\body that degree was taught in English. You also have to supply degree that this letter is associated with. Apply for FLR (HSMP) when exact 2 years are left for PR I assume PR is guaranteed and whil on FLR (HSMP) do not need to worry about maintaining ear...

Thanks for all the replies and clarificatrion

Now if someone is on WP and there are still 2years 5 months for PR. Does applying for HSMP (approved) guarantee PR, if FLR(hsmp) is applied exactly 2 years before FLR, assuming the laws wont change.
