I am not sure but if your company is UK based and you are going out of country for a long period then that period "will be" counted towards ILR.

In other words in-country.

If you can show that you visit to India was business\work related

People do not realise before saying something.

To the original poster : Do you know how much £1500 is ? :?:

£1500 is more than average take home in UK. Nothing demeaning here. But just giving an idea of GBP to the people who are less exposed to UK economy and stuff.

hi all, why is that many indians have to leave UK after the new HSMP rules. I do not understand. 1.Is it because they are not able to get sufficient points of 75. 2.Is it that people who are above 32 are not allowed to stay any more. 3.I dont see any rule in the guidance , which tells people above ...

It would be good idea to share your university and degree with the forum. Somebody from the same course and degree might have got approval with points for qualification.

6 months is the period to get EC\FLR done. 6 months start from the date HSMP approval letter.

Now you have to apply for EC within 6 months, from the date of HSMP approval.

You can enter UK anytime before you visa expires. Logically it would be 12 months before you apply for extension of HSMP.

Diploma in engineering in India is generally after class 10th not 12th as you mentioned and hence may not qualify for degree equivalence. I think going to NARIC is a wise option but i very much doubt it.

Minny, I think yours is FLR ref no and 6 digit ref no. is for HSMP approval. Even I got 6 digit ref no. for my HSMP application.

Your post suggests that yours is ILR

In country processing time

I have a feeling that in country applications may get processed quicker than others as case workers have first hand knowledge of evidences provided. Where as out of country application's evidences may take time...
