For extensions, many people have applied early and have gotten approved. You can not apply for ILR too early as you may not qualify. Is it?? Can we apply early for HSMP extennsion (not for ILR) if we qualify? Is that not against guidelines? what if they reject that application? If this is the case,...

Hi Vimal, There is no harm even if you post now. But if you think that there are some contraversial earnings (like sick leave, compassionate leave, other benefits, relocation package etc) try to wait for this month and you should be fine. At the sametime the rules can change at any point, Even the n...

thanks for your replies SKUK and Gordon. SKUK: She is eligible for paid leaves but the amount is not 100% of the salary and this is what brings down the total amount earned in that period. And to ask the employer to pay more in advance doens't sound good as they might have to show reasons for the v...

You can do what ever you want on HSMP, but if you want to extend the HSMP visa, you have to satisfy the home office that you are contributing enough to the government with your earnings and also you have qualify by the reaching the threshold points. So you can do full time course if you think you ca...

You can apply for student extension. But if you get through the HSMP initial stage andfurther to apply for FLR(HSMP) they might verufy your present status and you will be shown up as a student who extented his visa for some reason (reason must be either the course is still left or you joined a new c...

Hi I heard that with the new rules MBA points for HSMP is going to be scrapped, I may be wrong, but I would suggest you to go for HSMP and go for the extension further instead of going to IGS+HSMP and suddenly if they scrap 10years rule, you will be in trouble....... Think twice and take a wise deci...

what does LT stand for? And can't you email them ?? For all FLR applications, after the payment processing, you will get a reference number starting with LT and 10 number after that. I think it is just a reference number for them to identify under which category the application made for and I think...

Re: Will it help?

Will these two evidences be considered genuine? (1) I will get in written and stamped from ex-exmployer that this much salary was paid for this many days ? (2) Form -16 ( tax form) for previous year contains the salary taxed for those many days? Form 16 stands legal from Income tax poitn of view an...
