Re: Advanced Stage - What does it really mean?

I don't think they are gonna to release more approvals soon, They are definitely going to be releasing more approvals. It could be this coming week. They do them in batches, which is why we tend to see no activity on the board and then suddently a bunch of people will pop up with approvals all in t...

Re: Advanced Stage - What does it really mean?

I was happy to hear from Nail, at least it looked like my file is moving But in Feb John disappointed me, did not leave any hope for me to attend this ceremony :D I would, personally speaking, try to resist putting too much stock in these emails. I think they just hit an auto reply button with a pr...

Re: citizenship timeline

Hi,
I am pretty sure that just means you aren't officially allowed to forget about your GNIB card and further visas until you pay the money etc. I think it is normal.
To the best of my knowledge once you pay then you have a legitimate offer you can wave at border control etc.
Congrats!!!!

Re: Advanced Stage - What does it really mean?

@ icloud, Very happy to hear that J Karim got his approval. He was the one who kept this forum alive, unfortunately he got banned. Agree... it is hard waiting for these approvals to come in and him engaging with everyone like he did really helped take the stress off. Also, I was unclear about the G...

Re: Advanced Stage - What does it really mean?

I was also asked for me GNIB earlier this month. And was told at that point and after I provided it that my application "continued to be processed". I am guessing this latest update indicates it has moved forward... But you mentioned in your first post that your file has moved to advanced...

Re: Advanced Stage - What does it really mean?

Seems like quite a few members of this forum received approval about two weeks or so after getting this email response... not sure what that "means" exactly, but looking for as many data points as possible.

Advanced Stage - What does it really mean?

So I got ye olde "Your application is currently at an advanced stage of processing" email today. I have been reading the forums extensively and I am interested to know what this really, actually, means. Can anyone with knowledge of the subject comment as to whether I am correct in thinking...

Re: citizenship timeline

As far as your first question goes, I have no idea, perhaps someone else wants to take a guess.
