I am pretty sure that just means you aren't officially allowed to forget about your GNIB card and further visas until you pay the money etc. I think it is normal.
To the best of my knowledge once you pay then you have a legitimate offer you can wave at border control etc.

Seems like quite a few members of this forum received approval about two weeks or so after getting this email response... not sure what that "means" exactly, but looking for as many data points as possible.

So I got ye olde "Your application is currently at an advanced stage of processing" email today. I have been reading the forums extensively and I am interested to know what this really, actually, means. Can anyone with knowledge of the subject comment as to whether I am correct in thinking...

AFAIK April 21 is the next one, they only seem to do two or three a year.
Could you maybe add your timeline to the timeline thread?
As far as your first question goes, I have no idea, perhaps someone else wants to take a guess.
