Without knowing the actual job you are going for I would say the degree is a higher qualification but is it the correct qualitfication for the job? The NVQ they are asking for may be slightly different field.

Can anyone advise of the likelyhood of getting a fiance visa before divorce is filed? There has been a slight delay and it now looks like I will be at the stage of a settlement agreement signed up and ready to file for divorce when I had planned to go to apply for the fiance visa. Please tell me if ...

Basically they are looking for photos, details of visits you have made to your partner and your partner to you. Any proof of contact like phone bills emails etc. Anything that shows you have been together and/or been in contact with each other. With regard the length of time it varies between the di...

Its not so much the length of time you have been together but more the amount of time you have spent with each other. In my opinion as long as you can prove a relationship there should not be any problems with only being together for 7 months. There is nothing in the rules that states you should hav...

Fiance visa before divorce is finalised??

I notice from the Uk visas website that you can apply for a fiance visa before your divorce is fully sorted and was wondering whether anyone has experience of this. The information I have read is at http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/ShowPage&c=Page&cid=103...

Thanks for the reply Steve. I know it will be difficult, she is actually a teacher but that is even harder to get work in as you seem to need specific training to teach in Scotland. With regard Russians and Ukrainians working here if you look at the stats from the government website half of the work...

Speaking from personal experience as I am still not divorced and have a Ukrainian girlfriend that has been issued a vivit visa the fact you are not divorced will not influence things at all. If you wanted a fiance visa that would be different though. On the question of her not being in employment at...

Help required Ukraine citizen wanting to come to UK

I am after a bit of advice as to options for some one from the Ukraine to come to the UK for work or study. The person in question is an English/German teacher in Ukraine. What are the possibilities for her to get a visa to come to the UK to either study to register for teaching in Britain or to obt...
