I was just wondering if the person signing the countersignature section needs to write down the date of birth or the date he signed the application.

It is your choice how you apply but I would strongly suggest you apply using NCS. Not only do they check your application form and supporting documents, but they copy them as well and return all your originals to you so that you are free to travel if you wish to etc. Using NCS, you can also apply f...
