Yes it did happen after second letter.I got that letter for updated GNIB from CITZ on 4th jan 2017. I got my second letter on 16th November and then I did update myself with a letter to the CITZ dept that i got approval for permanent residency just to let them know and avoid further delay. To The_Mentiad Well actually I did update them with my permanent residency letter which was issued for 10 years(EU-3). So they sent me acknowledgement letter asked me update with up to date GNIB. I explained them (CITZ) dept that Ive valid visa till 19th January and I booked an appointment with GNIB...

I was asked for it but I have still valid visa till January second week..

Application Based On: 5 Years Residency (Married to E.U Citizen)
Application received On: 25th July 2016.
Acknowledgement : 7th September 2016.
Second Letter: 16th November 2016.
