I was just wondering if youve provided only a letter from your inlaws stating that they have given you a cash gift. Aside from that is there any other document that you provided like lets say a deposit slip by the parents. Thanks

The parents may need to provide a paper trail of the deposit into your account. What if it was on a time deposit and was opened few years back. the banks here i believe only provide up to a year of statement. Shall a letter from the bank confirming the deposit made be enough? or the bank certificat...

The savings can be included if they are over £16,000 and held in an accessible account for a minimum of 6 months, as advised previously but you haven't yet confirmed. It's roughly around £39,000.00 depending on the conversion rate. i guess that would be enough to suffice the financial requirement. ...

If you are applying from abroad, your employment and salary as the applicant is irrelevant. Alright thanks. We arret in the process of applying for a spouse visa here in the Philippines. I couldn't find any details and info online on where to address the letters. Is it the british embassy in taguig or is there a different address for home office here? Thanksto anyone who could answer my querie.
