The first one was applied on 18th-Jan and the second one was almost one month ago but both were issued at the same time.

Re: Salary on defined COS if decision is made after 4th April

Thank you everyone who responded on my query. We have received the DCOS and were able to assign it well in time. If anyone has COS or DCOS they must be assigned by 7pm on 2nd April as SMS system will go down for the new changes, any pending COD/DCOS request or unused DCOS/COS will be cancelled that ...

Salary on defined COS if decision is made after 4th April

Dear All, If the defined COS is applied before April'24 changes (e.g. Salary 27K) and COS is issued after April'24 changes, would the applicant be able to apply with the old salary as the COS application was made earlier? Also, I have noticed that some employers (take away type of business) are gett...

MN1 application with expired overseas passport

Dear All, I need to apply for British citizenship for my daughter who is under 18 but her other passport (non British) has expired. I applied for the renewal of that but again as my wife ID card was also expired so they put it on hold which is ridiculous as wife's passport was valid with all other d...

Expired Passport - Register child under 18 as British citizen (form MN1)

Dear Zimba and other respected Gurus,

I want to register my daughter under 18 as British citizen (form MN1), but her overseas passport has just expired. Can I apply with an expired passport or a valid passport is needed for this type of application?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Dependent status after main applicant switched to ILR

Many thanks vinny. Really appreciate your support. Dose it mean that if she don't travel then she can continue on her existing visa until expire which is Jan 2023? I'm asking this because, as dependent she will complete 7 years in next couple of month. FLR(M) is of 2.5 years, so if she delay her app...

Re: Dependent status after main applicant switched to ILR

Many thanks manci and CR001 for your response. Considering the other dependencies I can’t afford to delay my ILR, I have to apply this December only but if I need to switch my dependent visa also then I want to understand what are the timelines for making the FLR(M) visa application. Regarding Spous...

Re: 10 Year Route - Gaps

Thanks a lot zimba. I really don't have words to thank for the work which you are doing, guiding the people in the right direction. Otherwise I would have kept waiting for 1 more year thinking that I'm still not eligible if I listened to him. I really agree with what you said. He was reading and sha...

I have a question related to the continuous stay in the 10-year ILR route. I left the UK on 8th Dec 2012 my visa expired on 10 Dec 2012. I applied for my new visa in Feb 2013 which I got the validity starting from 19th Feb and I enter back in UK on 24th Feb 2013. Is this gap of approx 70+ days when ...

Hi Zimba, One more question. At the moment I have one full time and one part time employee in my company. These employees joined in 2016. Do I need to create two fresh employments for ILR or can carry on with these old ones? If I keep the old employees do I need to submit the FPS of 2016 also to sh...
