Re: ILR or PBS Dependant Extension

Hi,

I've just got the notification from HO that the ILR application has been successful for my wife and child.

Thanks a lot CR001 for your advice.

Re: ILR or PBS Dependant Extension

Thank you so much for the advice.

That answers the question for my wife. I will consider applying for ILR.

My only other question is that, my son has not completed 5 years in the UK yet (it's only been 4 years), can i still apply for ILR for my son too, along with my wife?

ILR or PBS Dependant Extension

Hi, I was hoping you could help me with my query. I acquired by ILR in 2016 from Tier 2 ICT. My wife first entered the UK in 2014, and had PBS Dependant Visa. In 2018, she got her PBS Dependant Visa extended until 2021. However she has had a long absence of 13 months between 2016 and 2017. Since 201...

Re: IHS fee for PBS Dependant extension

Hi Sunny007 The COS my employer had secured for me whilst I was in Tier 2 ICT had expired already when my wife was submitting the application. Because I now have my ILR, my employer obviously did not get a new COS for me and therefore I was the sponsor for my wife (without any COS) and I only wrote ...

Re: IHS fee for PBS Dependant extension

Hi CR001, Just to update back, i did as you suggested i.e., added ILR expiry date as 3 years ahead, instead of the actual expiry and paid the right amount of IHS. Just received confirmation today that the application has been approved and BRP is on its way. Can't thank you enough, much appreciated. ...

Re: IHS fee for PBS Dependant extension

Thanks very much. It sounds like a good idea to pay the right amount. However, I'm a bit worried that i won't be entering the exact date of expiry as per my BRP of ILR. You don't think it would be a problem, do you? Alternatively, If i still enter the date of 2024 and pay the excessive IHS fee, do y...

IHS fee for PBS Dependant extension

Hi, I was originally on Tier 2 ICT and then acquired my ILR in 2016. My wife has been on PBS Dependant since 2014 and now she is applying for PBS Dependant extension from the UK, as she hasn't completed her 5 years for ILR. Given the fact that I have ILR and the expiry date as 2024 on the BRP card, ...

Re: Visitor's Visa for UK for a person with two names

Ok, thanks for your response.

She did not mention the other name in the previous application. So i will not bother about the passport change then. I will see what i can do to get funds in MIL account through FIL.

Thanks again.

Re: Visitor's Visa for UK for a person with two names

Thanks for your response. I appreciate what you're saying. if she applies for name change on the passport, i understand that she will get the new passport and will continue to have the old passport. So i was hoping to apply for the Visa by submitting both the passports together along with the proper...

Hi all, I have a situation that I hope you can help me with. I live in the UK with ILR. My mother in law who lives in India, apparently is known by two different first names. On some documents she has got it as "Elizabeth" and other documents have "Alyson". She got her first pass...

Re: Documents Required for dependent Visa

Also one more question please. My spouse's name is added on my passport. But my name is not added on my wife's passport.

Should i really get that added before initiating the visa application (PBS Dependent) for the child or can i use my marriage certificate as proof of our marriage?

Many thanks

Hello, I was in Tier 2 ICT earlier and got my ILR through 5 year continuous period in Sep 2016. But I had to return to India in Sep 2016. I worked in India for 7 months and returned to UK in April 2017. My wife has a dependent Visa which she got whilst I was in Tier 2 ICT and it has validity until 2...

Re: UK Dependent visa for baby

OK thanks, much appreciate your assistance here. Yes, my wife still has ICT depdendent visa; we intend to travel in April so she would have been out of UK for about 9 months by then. Is that okay? Now that I no longer have the ICT Tier 2 BRP card, is it still okay to apply for the baby as below? Rea...
