Existing visas post-Brexit

Are existing Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visas still valid post-Brexit? I've done some searching but can't find anything specifically mentioning it. I'm wondering if we're required to apply for the new Global Talent visa even if we've already been under the Tier 1 visa for some time. For what it's wor...

Documentation for employers

Hello, Is the BRP card the only documentation needed to show employers that you're under this visa? My new employer has never seen someone with this visa type before and are a bit confused on what my exact work restrictions are. I've given them a copy of my BRP which says "T1 Migrant" on i...

Dependents and right to rent?

Hello, Is a Points Based System (PBS) Dependent of the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa allowed to rent their own flat? Or would it have to be in the name of the primary visa holder? I've looked in the guidances and only see the limitations on public funds and occupation in sports/medicine. Thank you.

CoS timeframe

Hello, My employer hasn't been very communicative during this process so I'd like to double check with this board about the timeframe for a CoS. The application was made in December, and I was told that the HO looks at these on the 10th of each month. On Jan 10th we were given the go-ahead to get th...

Response I got from HO on self-employment

Hello all, I'm in a situation where I'm moving to UK on a Tier 2 sponsored visa, but have a software product that generates sales. I specifically asked my new employer about the legality of this, and they had their legal representative contact HO to find out about this. We waited weeks to hear back,...
