Re: Retention of Rights and Permanent Residence

Also, was your application for retention of right (EU5) approved before you applied for the EU3? or did you apply for EU3 right after your divorce?

Re: Retention of Rights and Permanent Residence

In my case, I have had no contact with my ex-wife, since the approval of my application for the retention. How can they ask for such silly requirements after the divorce, I wonder.

Re: Need information regarding Zambrano application

We haven't heard anything back from them as yet. Looks like they might take some more time. They contacted after a month and half in the past (normally).

Retention of Rights and Permanent Residence

Hi All, Has anyone with retained right of residence applied for the Permanent Residence and/or Naturalization recently? Are we supposed to submit the documents for our ex-spouse as well (i.e. showing previous activity in the State) for the time we would have remained together? These documents are al...

Re: Base On Zambrano Application URGENTLY!!!

Still nothing!! :(
No idea what's wrong with INIS and why are they taking so long.
I was thinking that it might take another month and half, as they have always got back to us requiring more documents, after around a month and half, previously.
I'll let you know if we get anything in the post.

He got it after around 1 month or so and they asked him about how he supported himself during all of his stay in Ireland (statements and payslips etc.), and some details on how is he supporting the irish born child etc.

Re: Base On Zambrano Application URGENTLY!!!

They asked for more documents from him. He applied for change of status from EU FAM to Parent of Irish Born child. They basically asked for previous history in ireland such as social welfare claim(s) and how he supported himself during that time etc.

Re: Base On Zambrano Application URGENTLY!!!

Still waiting unfortunately bro! We've started getting a bit worried at this stage and we were thinking of sending them a letter to enquire about the status of the application, as my brother and his wife may need to travel soon. I'll keep you all posted anyway.

Good Luck to you all.
Thanks,
Ali

Re: Need information regarding Zambrano application

My brother's wife is going through the Zambrano application process. She's been waiting for nearly 5 months and another 2 months are going to be for the DNA test. Very slow process indeed! I think that they require DNA test from everyone anyway, so why do they make it a requirement for everyone?!? ...

Re: TELEPHONE CALL FROM CITIZENSHIP DIVISION

I think INIS and Naturalization are two separate departments. So not sure, why were you contacted by INIS. If it was something important, I'm sure they would contact you again. They also have alternative ways to make sure and find out about anything that they are interested in knowing. I applied wit...

Re: VISA expired

Don't worry and don't panic. You've already let the immigration know. The delay is from their side. However, You need to call your daughter, if you want to get the visa sooner rather than later. It says on the website clearly that you need to go to the immigration with the Irish Born child. If you c...

Re: Bank Statement request

That's extremely weird. Another member was also required the same thing. I think that all you could do in this situation is to tell them about your situation. It makes no sense asking for 6 months statements. But, having said the above, the only reason why they may have asked this is that they have ...

You will have to notify INIS about the change in your circumstances and apply for retention of right of residence. Once your application gets approved, you'll receive a confirmation from INIS that you can retain your residence as well as stamp 4 EU FAM. You'll have to fill in this form: http://www....

Re: Wierd experience at Dublin airport today

Simply claim your Irish Passport from 2016 and tell the immigration to give it back to you LOL! :D Just kidding.
I think if she said it's fine, then don't worry.
Someone else might give you more info regarding this though.

On what basis did the two of you apply?
This sounds like very weird requirement, however, you cannot argue with them. All that you could do is do what they say :D
