Re: Base On Zambrano Application URGENTLY!!!

No probs at all! My brother got the DNA results on the 2nd of November. INIS are supposed to get a copy of that automatically. So we are now waiting for their response. If they don't contact us within 2 weeks from the date of the DNA test, we might contact them for an update, by sending them a copy ...

Re: Citizenship with Expired GNIB Card

I have heard this happening with some other people as well and that is the reason why I posted this question. I think if you are not getting a letter from INIS granting you temporary extension, it's not your fault, so don't worry too much, however, there is a BIG question as to what would you do if ...

Re: Citizenship with Expired GNIB Card

Yes, but some people post that the GNIB are unwilling to give them a temporary extension sometimes.
What should be done in those cases?

Citizenship with Expired GNIB Card

Hi All,

What happens if your citizenship application gets approved and your PR application is still pending a decision?

Are you supposed to submit your ''expired'' GNIB, in case your current permission has expired in the meanwhile?

How does the above work?

Thanks,
Ali

Re: Parents to Irish children

I think the only way you can find an exact answer to your question is by writing to the relevant department. I have checked online and there is no email address or phone number provided for the Irish Parents Department. So the only way is to write them a letter. The address details can be found on t...

P.S. You can write to them that you have not received the stamp 4, so you can not legally work in Ireland and that's the reason why your husband is supporting you and your child.

Re: Base On Zambrano Application URGENTLY!!!

You're very welcome. God helps those who help others :-) so no problems at all.
Yes - you are right. The affidavit should be enough to prove the above. The affidavit also needs to be witnessed by a solicitor (this might cost 10 or 15 euro as far as I know).

Permanent Residence (Change of Address)

Hi All, If someone gets his approval letter for Permanent Residence and also has his Citizenship application pending approval: 1. Does he/she have to notify INIS regarding change of address, before he/she can go to GNIB in order to get the new GNIB card, or can he/she get an appointment with the GNI...

Re: Base On Zambrano Application URGENTLY!!!

Yes, They asked about all of the details that you have mentioned, plus they also asked about the nature of relationship of my brother with his other EU spouse as well. As a matter of fact, if your child got the passport based upon your husband's passport, INIS would want to know that your husband is...

Re: Base On Zambrano Application URGENTLY!!!

My brother's wife is also not working. She came from the USA and currently has no immigration status, so that's what she told the Immigration as well, that she cannot work because she has no status. She does have a bank account though. So you can tell them what the truth is, that your husband is bea...

Just re-read that thread.
Looks like it might be a good thing to re-send them most of the things (if not everything) again, while applying for the PR.

Really?! Is that specifically mentioned somewhere?
Just trying to make sure..
I remember reading a post in which a user ''CalvinKlien'' mentioned that he did not submit any of his ex-spouse's documents of activity, while applying for PR. Is this still the case I wonder?

EU3 (1B) Permanent Residence and Retention of Rights Question
