Re :

I would call the embassy first and ask them to re-check the bank statements and review their decision and if they dont want to know, will go for an appeal WITH a cover letter. It takes time, but if all is genuine, it will work, for sure. NEVER EVER give up, NEVER!!

Let's say (with the elections, for example), the law changes and they say : Work permit holders now do not qualify for ILR, would that a...

Re:

Thanks for this quick reply. So if i understand properly : I, being on a work permit, can my wife(dependant) be self employed?? Can she freely set up a legitimate company?
Any sources, (internet link etc...) of how to do so? This would be of huge help.

Hi, just read your post. Well one thing i would advise you to do is don't mess things up. Dont show the embassy that you want to return to the UK at any cost. Keep it cool and take your time. Define which type of visa you need and apply STEP BY STEP. Make sure you get all the relevant documentation ...

Hi SUmmer, just read your post and would liek to let you know that it doesn't matter how many times u've been refused, you can still get a visa. However, if the reasons why u've been refused do not change, then u'll obviously be refused again; but from what they've told her, it looks pretty positive...
