Arrived on FP - can you apply for FLR (M) instead of RC?

Hi all, Asking a question for a friend (we submitted our RC application mid-July). She has FP and is currently in the UK. She is American and is married to a Brit and they were living in Spain for a few years. She is thinking of applying for FLR (M) instead of RC after expiry of FP (as if you are in...

Re: Translations and 'Centre of Life' for EEA family permit

"Worst case: you could enter UK as you are visafree then apply for an optional RC once here. No need for hubby to exercise treaty rights once in UK (as he is a BC)."

Hi noajthan, is this a viable route?
Even if you've had a Family Permit refusal?

EEA Family Permit current processing time?

Hi all, does anyone know if there are any delays with UK vEEA Family Permit application processing at present? I checked on the UK Gov website but their data is still showing from November 2016... Re: Article 10 or 20 Residence Card to enter UK and remain?

Thanks secret.simon. So we can enter the UK together, with him using his using Article 20 residence card from Germany and then apply for UK residence card once we are there. Should we say we he is just entering for 6 months? I would assume if we say we are entering the UK to remain, there may be som...

Hi there, the gov.UK webpage for Family Permit states: How long you can stay An EEA family permit is valid for 6 months. You can leave and enter the UK as many times as you need within that time. Stay after your EEA family permit expires You can stay in the UK after your permit expires if you: - are...

Article 10 or 20 Residence Card to enter UK and remain?

Hi all, is this still a valid route? I am Brush and my Canadian husband has an Article 20 residence card in Germany. Is using an Article 10 or 20 residence card to enter the UK and stay a valid option or is it only really for visiting? I hear differing views that you can use one to enter and remain ...
