Re: Validity of UK HSMP - Tier 1 permit

Hi, I've recently been granted an HSMP Approval. N', I was beginning to look for jobs online, before my arrival in UK. On all job websites, I saw the same question "Are you qualified to work in the EU"?? Does HSMP qualify a person to "work in EU"? Like, for e.g., Ireland? I appl...

looking at the bright side (you really have to look for that silver lining), the pdf on the new point based system also says that ILR can be given to Tier 1 candidates after 2 yrs itself. Pls note that this is just a chance: 88. Tier 1 is a route to settlement and people in this route will be allowe...

Hi Gordon,

I am just trying to get different interpretations of the PBS.
I certainly agree with your opinion on this that guys currently on HSMP will have to satisy the same criteria what they put in Dec 2006.

Further Info

Hi, following is the info from one site: Tier 1 is designed for migrants with the highest skills and will replace the HSMP. They do not need a job offer or employer sponsorship for the visa and the application can be made from outside the UK. There is also the additional flexibility of being able to...
