Re: uk spouse visa on hold :(

Sorry, I thought you were talking about Karachi and Pakistan in general. In that case, maybe they rounded the data up. 99.6% can legitimately be rounded to 100% by a statistician, but 0.4% would still be on average 1 application per month taking longer than 60 days. Remember a famous quote, there ar...

Re: uk spouse visa on hold :(

Hi maibm, Unforunately, if you are applying from Pakistan you will note one important feature of the data. They do not quote a number of days for 100% of applications, only 97%. This suggests that even after 120 days, 3% of applications have still not been decided. To give an idea of the scale of th...

Re: Spouse visa

Hi Jack, you are category A. Category B is when you are combining income from two different jobs because you have changed employer within the 6 month time frame (Question 3.12). Does not matter about pay rise only that you exceed the weekly threshold every week for 6 months. Question 3.11 put your c...

Re: Genuine and subsisting proof, pls help

Since you are married and living together, evidence of shared financial responsibility would be very valuable and almost expected. Any joints bills, bank or savings accounts etc

I imagine you both should at least appear on the council tax bill for the property. This would be a good start.

Re: Fast Track process - some advice

Hi Nick, there is no right or wrong answer on the covering letter. If you decide to provide it you should just introduce yourself briefly and how you met your wife and mention a couple of improtant points and vice versa for your wifes letter. One that was posted on a thread here and I commented on c...

My wife got exactly the same reply yeterday at 9 am UK time.

We paid for an update on 7th June and have never received a reply.

I've no idea what it means, what I do know is it's outrageous!

Re: Fast Track process - some advice

There are a couple of posts on here from others who applied in the US https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/usa-to-uk-priority-settlement-timeline-t232616.html#p1493385 My understanding is that your wife must apply online using the Visa4UK portal. Re: FLR (M) acoomodation proof confusion

Hi Baz, since you own the home and it is your spouse (and children if they need to be covered) your description along with the council tax bill for this year will be sufficient. You only require a bedroom for yourself and spouse! The council tax band and the fact it only has your name on it will ind...

I really do not know what to suggest then apart from have a read on the web about X-rays in pregnancy. I've had a quick look and the weight of opinion suggests that a chest X-ray does not pass to the uterus and poses "little" risk. I appreciate it's a difficult decision and one only you an...

Hi bham, If everybody is happy with that course of action and agreed that they would like me to prepare a draft it would be a privilige to do it. I could have a general draft template on here tomorrow at some stage for you to review and decide if you are ok with it. You could then edit for your own ...

I have not had that experience but both the Tuberculin skin test and the blood test are supposed to be safe in pregnancy with no detrimental outcome to mother or child. You should really go and ask your GP though

Re: new job and spouse visa

You can combine the income from the new position with that from the old job. It's Category B on the Appendix 2 (VAF4A). Not sure how it works if you apply in July with only part month salary for June. I think they average it out. Explanation in letter from employer detailing salary/wage along with n...

@tarunmsn to use PM you need to get up to either 20 or 30 posts. Can't remember which it is. Found it 1. Normally your partner would receive some notification to collect their passport from the Global Partner application centre. Obviously slightly different in your case so just ignore.
