Re: Citizenship certificate amendment

You could write to them requesting to change the name on their records so as to avoid wrong name on naturalisation certificate.

Re: MN1 referee

I registered my 3.5-year-old daughter in May 2016 via paper form and only my wife's colleagues at the bank signed. There were no questions asked either to us or to the referees.

Hope it helps!

Re: ILR Date of Issue

2nd March 2019. The letter which you got with your passport confirms the day you were granted ILR. I attended my ILR appointment at Birmingham PEO on 9th March 2016 however, due to some reasons they couldn't record my wife's biometrics and we were called again next day, but provided the letter same ...

Re: British Citizen Spouse : Dilemma

Thank you very much for the advice, I appreciate it. I will be getting in touch with my accountants this week. Re: I think I got caught over speeding

Don't worry if this is the first time, and if you have been recorded, they will send you a notice with two options, Either accept points and pay fine of 100 GBP or pay 100 GBP and attend a speed awareness course. Only thing you would loose is 100GBP. Speeding fines are not taken very seriously until...

You could use that and also bank statements, tenancy agreement, credit card statements, NHS letters that carry your respective names even if individually.

Re: ILR for dependent in 5 years tier 2 visa route

Once you gained ILR they are dependents to a settled person and not PBS dependent even though there current visa says so. When you apply for extension it would be as family/dependents of a settled person and not PBS dependents. INCORRECT advice!! Please, if you are not sure then rather do not advis...

Re: General Query on Tier 2 General ILR absence limit rule

Your employer might not file and pay for ILR but they can provide a letter stating your absences throughout the qualifying period were in.lieu of annual leave. It's pretty standard and I don't think printing an A4 sheet could be an issue. No reason they should refuse. You also need a letter certify...

Re: BC - Apply together or Separately

You can only apply for citizenship for children after yourself. You can't claim descretion, it's caseworkers pererogative.

Re: British Citizen Spouse : Dilemma

Filing SA and getting your affairs in order with HMRC will only help your case in the long run. You should consider yourself lucky that HMRC haven't yet issued any penalties or counter penalties, which could put a mark against your name. That could be far more worse. When you have paid the tax you s...

Re: BC - Apply together or Separately

Well with the given conditions I believe you should apply first and then apply for children, not because you might be refused, because that is the only option.

Why do you think you would be refused or they will have to use discretion, if there is some concern let us know and we can try to help.
