Re: BC - Apply together or Separately

Well with the given conditions I believe you should apply first and then apply for children, not because you might be refused, because that is the only option.

Why do you think you would be refused or they will have to use discretion, if there is some concern let us know and we can try to help.

Re: BC - Apply together or Separately

Since all of you are applying for citizenship I assumed you, i.e. father is atleast settled in UK and your children were born here, hence you can register your minor children as citizens. Minor children are registered and adults are naturalised. If not so you apply first and then for children Minor ...

3. Doesn't matter

Each application is considered on its own merit. Your children would have to be registered and yourself naturalised

Re: T2 Dependent ILR requirements

Hi guys, I am on T2 G visa and will be eligible for ILR in July 18. My wife is on T2 (G) and will be eligible for ILR in Dec 19 (i.e. that is when she will complete 5 years as T2 G dependent). My questions are: 1) What are the absence limits for T2 G dependents going for ILR? are these same as T2 G...

Re: Tier2 Employee paid in Cash for Holidays

The only way it's legitimate is when it's substituted with a payment advice, mentioned on your salary slip, bonus payout advice etc etc. And if tax is already paid your employer shouldn't have any issue issuing one.

You are safe as long as you have an advice.

Re: Forgot to mention day trip to France on Application

No it's not an absence yet a movement in and out of country .... Would not count as an absence but part of your travel history anyway.

You can write to them on the address from AN guidance notes.

Re: Difference of Postal and Residential address when applying for British Citizenship

I suggest you mention the address where you want correspondence to first and follow with your residential address ... Also writing a cover letter and explaining your reasons would be good. However, be aware it also depends what kind of caseworker gets your application, most of the time they will sen...

Re: Forgot to mention day trip to France on Application

You are never late until a decision is made on your application, I suggest recall carefully if there are any other trips too and either way send a A4 sheet explaining your predicament.

When you divulge on your own it's declaration, when they have to ask for it you are hiding!

Re: Tier2 Employee paid in Cash for Holidays

In future applications if you want to claim you got paid so and so amount you need to provide proof, if you don't intend to claim you earned this amount you need not worry.

Hi, I am new to such plateform. I apologise if this is not the relevant forum for my query. I came to UK on spouse visa in 2011. I got my ILR in 2013. I want to apply for UK citizenship. Re: Dart - Warning Letter - ILR

It would not have any impact and would not be considered a penalty or a conviction.

Though you must declare the same in a cover letter with the warning letter and explain what you did with it.

Happy days!

Re: Date and place of first arrival

You need to print the application at the end, hence, you can always add a couple of pages as additional information. Ultimately it's your application, it's better to provide as much clear and concise application in the first attempt than to be asked and face delays. HO anyway have access to landing ...
