Re: Date and place of first arrival

I was here between June 2007-April 2010 and then from September 2010 onwards. I used Sep 2010 date as the date of the first arrival since that is the date I used for my settlement. I did write a cover letter why I chose the date from September 2010 and also gave details for my previous stay here. Di...

Re: Naturalisation - P60s and/OR payslips

No you don't, make sure you provide as much detail you can provide. They mainly look at 5 years and immigration breach while working.

Try to get payslips for last 12 months atleast.

Once you attend your ceremony and get your naturalization certificate

To apply any sooner you need to attend private ceremony which would be costlier.

Re: Reconsideration letter: 5 years back from day of application not in the uk

IF you don't mind could you share exact language on the HO letter to you. you may mask all the important personal details as name, case number etc.

I do feel you need to sign and send back the declaration page citing the reason, however, the language on the letter might reveal more.

I don't think they will issue fine so don't worry much about it. There is a sign in my street which says £1000 fine for not cleaning after dogs and this street is full with dog poop

Re: Surrendring Indian passport

It should be Surname or Last name mentioned in the Passport as well as citizenship certificate. You can call it Maidens name or Father's name ( few states in India has this system of father name as surname/Last name). Keep it like this only, changing will unnecessarily complicate and delay things. ...

Re: Ceremony letter without Home office letter

If your ceremony is very close do check with HO, there 2nd class post can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to arrive from decision date.

You could also check with council about your decision date as per the intimation sent by HO to them.
