Re: Important message regarding 16 Oct ceremony

Appologies all!

Was just going by conversation between attendees and minister on the minister's twetter account. But it's official now, it's been CANCELLED!

I am guessing they will reschedule it for next month...

Re: Important message regarding 16 Oct ceremony

I think the ceremony is still on. Someone called the office and they confirmed that it is still on.

Meanwhile, if this cancellation news was true, they first place they would update will be their website. The site still upholds the original date!

Re: Properties for rent and Life in Ireland

Hey Obie, Well, both are interlinked- lack of government spending on infrastructures like house=Shortage of homes. However, I am afraid to say, what is happening is not government fault. There is no amount of homes they will build that will meet the demand for houses. Ireland is one of the few count...

Re: Changes of stamps- From 4 to 1

Hey Chowdhury123,

It is possible for someone to change their status, if necessary. However, I am not sure why you want to change your status. With stamp 4 you are allowed to get any kind of job you want.

Re: Visa for UK while on Temporary Stamp 4/Stamp 4 EUFAM

Hey Niallpp, As long as you are married, the eu treaty status covers your husband, whether he has a temporary stamp 4 or not. All you need to do, since he doesn't have his stamp 4eufam yet, is carry your marriage certificate with you and make sure that either he goes with you through the Irish/eu/ee...

Re: GNIB Registration at Burgh Quay Dublin

Hey Niallpp, There is no tip on this. All applicant have to book appointment. You are right, it is difficult to get appointment and that there is cancellation released at 2:30 every day. But the thing, you need to check frequently, say every 30 minutes to 1 hour as cancellations can be released at a...

Hi ya, I am not sure where your from or what your status is(whether you are married to eu, eea or non eu or eea? But if you are not Irish, eu or in the eea, you will need to register with Irish immigration. The type of stamp you will receive depend on who you are married to, hence my above question....

Re: Retained rights with a permanent EU Fam card

Hi Notrouble, Well, I am guessing you made a mist at saying that Brian acquired a permanent residency card through Adam. I am thinking you meant, Brian acquired residence stamp 4eufam. If this is the case, then Brian will have to apply for stamp 4 for the wife. Although, I must say, it might not be ...

Re: Divorced and Retention Questions

Hey Grace20, Since she has had two different jobs during the 5 years, did you provide her P60 or/and P21 for both jobs to the immigration. As I mentioned in my previous post, just because your retention was granted does not vitiate that fact that your status was linked to your spouse previously. If ...

Hey, You should be able to marry in both countries. Yes, the UK is leaving the EU but that is not happening until March/2019 and the UK govt has propose that all EU citizen living in the UK before March/2019 will be able to apply for some kind of residency status. If you decide to marry and reside i...

Re: Applying for Citizenship as Irish spouse

Hey water_tank1, The idea of granting citizenship is that the person resides in the state, obeys the law of the land and is contributing in some ways to the state. I am sure what the situation of your is, whether she worked some years during the 5 years or not at all. Assuming she never worked, I wi...

Re: Divorced and Retention Questions

I am not sure why they would require her job contract if you have already provided her P60 or/and P21. It doesn't sound right to me at all! Can you write a little bit more about your spouse work activity: e.g did she work consistently during the 5 years, she had only one job for 5 years or different...

Re: Seperation during 5year temp period

Just to add further to my above reply, what they require are P60 or P21(I think it's called from the revenue office). Payslip and letter are not sufficient and they do not show paint a comprehensive picture with regards to the person's one year income activities

Re: Seperation during 5year temp period

Hi Grace620, I don't know how to explain this more stronger, but I will use this example for, Let say that you are seeking a loan €20,000 from a credit union and they require two things (1) that you must have reasonable income (2) that you must have €5,000 in your credit union account before they gr...

Hi walting4tcz, It is always important to stick to an instruction. Having said that, this was not by your own doing. As you already said, you didn't get the letter on time. I just hope that you included a cover note that explained this, when you sent the requirements. Meanwhile, I think as long as t...

Re: Please advise

Hey Diamond, Assuming the eu citizen has been exercising his right, I would STRONGLY advice that you apply for permanent residency. Yes, you have to wait for 6 months for the process but you will get 10 years stamp(meaning, you will not have anything to do with the immigration), also it's the normal...

Hey there, Your is a bit of a complicated one, I must say and there is still not enough info for me to give you enough answer as I would like. The fact that you have been in a long time relation with your wife does not make any difference with the immigration, in this particular case. Your status is...
