I was wondering if a person can attend a citizenship ceremony, get the certificate, apply for passport, fly out of the UK and get someone to send the passport abroad?

As I understand, to get ILR you can have gaps living outide UK of up to 6 months BUT need to have a valid leave to remain/enter
If you overstayed you have no valid leave to remain

I have re-read carefully the whole paragraph and the sentence I quoted was actually referring to Blue Card holders.. (Immigration website of Hungary)
