Re: Unrestricted COS issue

Thanks CR001, since lockdown has eased I was assuming that priority services might be open. Anyways ill keep an eye on the HO website on any such announcements. Regarding my situation on the second employer rasing the COS there won't be any issue right since the first employer has not assigned any C...

Re: Unrestricted COS issue

Cx2y18, Thank you.

I am pretty sure it has not assigned to me yet as the COS was submitted and it was not issued by the HO. When was your COS raised? and any idea if the priority service is working?

Re: Unrestricted COS issue

[/quote] Hi, not really sure how it works, but i think once the cos is assigned on your name and passport, you cannot have another one with same info. so the cos document they send you, if it says it is assigned to you, then you have to cancel that so that you have only one that you want to apply wi...

Re: Tier 2 redundancies

I already sent an email to HO (CIH@homeoffice.gov.uk) explaining the situation. I think rules might change if HO receives lots of email from people. Maybe not, but it will take 5 mins. There is a website with petitions to the Parliament where you can submit or sign petitions to the government. I ha...

Say for example if I received this letter next week and I'll be in the country for 2 months. Now that I have got the offer and employer is ready to sponsor and they have already starte...

Re: With Gen Tier 2 visa can I buy shares or do trading

thanks for your input, this is purely for my personal hobby not involved with any business. Here I am talking about playing around with not more than 1500 pounds which comes within the limits even If I make any profit it will be very small. Re: Urgent help needed SOC 2135 does RLMT needed?

Hey CR001, I got confirmation saying the first employer has raised the COS but they have not assigned it to me yet because HO has not allocated to them yet. So they said this will not create any issue if another employer is raising the COS. Please let me know if this is fine.

Thank you in Adance

Re: Urgent help needed SOC 2135 does RLMT needed?

Thanks for your help, can they cancel the COS from SMS or solicitor needs to do something here? I have told them to cancel on SMS and they are saying Solicitor needs to do it. I was assuming if they have access to SMS is should easy to cancel.

Re: With Gen Tier 2 visa can I buy shares or do trading

If it's spread betting in forex then it's tax free I think because of high risk, similar rules to gambling winnings which is tax free, but stock isn't. Thanks for your thoughts, as Picku says any gain made out of those 20K and its in ISA account its tax free that's what I learned reading some artic...

Re: With Gen Tier 2 visa can I buy shares or do trading

Thank you Picku for your valuable input, does this also mean I can also do day trading as a bobby like buying and selling shares/futures on the same day.

In ISA i guess its 20k is the tax-free limit and it makes sense to have ISA account.

@Waseem432000 which forum as we talking about where Tier-2 visas should be extended for 12-18 months? I think we should come together and support this. When we pay an equal amount of tax we deserve a fair chance during this unprecedented situation. No one has seen anything like this, with this whol...
