When you changed your name by deed-pole, surely there was paperwork completed that you should have a copy of? Don't you have a document that shows your original name before you changed it, and what you changed it to? If not this must exist somewhere in the records of whatever office you filled the ...

So again my simple question, they insist on passport, they refuse settled status, they try to deport me for failing to get settled status and provide a passport, then they apparently have to prove to the German embassy that I am a German(remember i have no german name no german documents no german ...

Yes it was the residence permit (blaue Karte). Would that still be valid, can it be revoked and when i do the search Should it show after all these years on their record(before computers in 1983)
