Hi, I had my appointment on 27th April 2017 for tier 2 general partner visa at VFS global new delhi and so far I have not got any email regarding my application apart from the confirmation email that my application has been received on 3rd May. Salary might not be the reason.Annual increase of 2000 is not significant.

Simply ask your company to check in the SMS if there is CoS allocated, if there is, then it can be assigned directly. Otherwise, the company needs to request CoS allocation.

You are over-worried. All the works you listed are normal tasks for a faculty member. It is nothing to do with self-employment.

When you made the original application, you were given a CoS document which has the SoC information. Can't you find that document?

You can only have one live CoS at any time. If a CoS has already been assigned to you, then other application of CoS will be refused.

If this is in country application, the sponsor simply assigned the CoS to you. It's the employer's responsibilities to ensure all requirements are fulfilled, not UKVI.

The start date should be 1st July 2017, if your current visa ends on 30th June 2017. The end date should be the date that makes your total Tier 2 stay to 6 years.
