We are not sure whether we should apply for the extension now? She should apply as close as possible to 30 months residence to avoid a future shortfall. Does anyone know if we apply now whether they may issue the new visa short of the 5 year total? It depends how you are applying for the extension....

Hi My wife's visa is due for extension mid may 2018. We was going to book another test but have noticed the test she took and passed in may 2015 was C1. Rang up ukba but the guy didn't know and had to search it up, he said he thinks another test doesn't need to be taken but sounded very unconfident....

She has the passport visa vignette of 2 years 9 months but never received any letters with a brp or stating one was needed.
