Re: How can British Citizen exercise treaty rights in UK?

As an EU national, your wife and her spouse can go to any EU country to visit or to seek work but you must have enough funds to support yourselves and would she still receive the salary in Czech, if she leaves? For the first three months there is NO requirement for any money or job or anything. NO ...

Re: Schengen Visa - Query

Was your application refused? Or did you not submit it? Note that this is a free movement application because you are the British father of the child and you will be travelling together. Be sure to mention that every time, again and again. You son can go both on the basis of his relationship to his ...

Re: Got that freakin' RC!!

I would suggest you consider asking for compensation. It sounds like it took far more than 6 months, even if it might be claimed you submitted a NEW application on 23 May

Good news!

Why did they ask you to submit a new application after the judge had ruled on the appeal?

Re: EEA 2 REFUSED and EEA FP EXPIRED

Sorry, my mistake in missing that you are not married.

How long have you been living together as a couple?

I agree that UKVI has already assessed that you are covered by Eu free movement law: that is why they issued the EEA Family Permit.

Re: EEA 2 REFUSED and EEA FP EXPIRED

You are definitely legally in the country. You are married and your wife is working.

I would definitely ask for a reconsideration.

Re: travel while waiting for eea family residence card

The UKBA website says I can ask for my passport back after my eea family residence card application has been submitted. However, it also says if they notice I travelled outside the common travel area (UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man) while a decision is pending then they will withdraw my appli...

It is not this forum who says that you can enter the UK without the EEA Family Permit. It is British law!

See http://eumovement.wordpress.com/2010/08 ... to-travel/ for extracts from the law and from British procedure.

Welcome to the UK.

If it has been more than 5 months since you applied, you should start calling formal attention to the 6 month deadline. If it is more than 6 months, then formally complain and start making a fuss.

This is all a bit confusing.

When you submit an application to them, you must always include a cover letter which explicitly lists out all the supporting documentation you are sending. And make everything simple and clear.

EEA1 is not a form of ID. It should be a passport or national ID although one can argue that if a Registration Certificate has been issued then the HO should already have the ID on file. . Put another way, you should suggest to your solicitor that maybe they should read the law before providing incorrect information.
