They will make a photocopy and give the original back to you but you might have to provide the proof that you need it. like Travel itinerary etc. hope it helps.

I think the ceremony is still on. Someone called the office and they confirmed that it is still on. Meanwhile, if this cancellation news was true, they first place they would update will be their website. The site still upholds the original date! Did you explain your absence in the application? you need to attach an explanation for an absence of more than 6 weeks for every year.

Regarding Question 2:
You can use - insurance/clinic visits/ letters from GP or anything that has a date, her name, and address.

Guys, a quick update. I have received my approval. Early September .
Applied in early November , based on 5 years residency non-eu.

I am so glad I have come across this thread!! My husband has received the same letter today asking for bank statements covering 6 months, p60s and 2 utility bills all covering 2013-2016 we sent all of this information including any utility bills we had for him with his application in February this ...

I got approval on August 01 and my wife got it on August 23. We both applied on October 26, 2016 under 5 years residency. For me Stamp1+4 and My Wife Stamp3. Both approval letters was 10 days to pay the €950 and I believe we will both be schedule for October ceremonie. Wow congrats! that makes me o...

Yeah, I got the very same replies.
I know of a case in which they replied that the app is still being processed and in the next day the approval arrived in post, dated with the same date of sending the reply email with "it's still being processed". :D

I think guys you are right. If we will get the approval for October then it has to be in the next 2 weeks at max otherwise we wait for the next ceremony. I am going to be skeptical and say the next ceremony would be in 2018 (I hope I am wrong!) But I really do hope we all hear something in the next...

any updates lads? Still no updates. I saw on the timeline thread that someone applied in Dec 2016 and got approval last week. I applied in October 2016 but really feeling very concerned about getting approval for the next ceremony at this stage :( Yeah I saw the update ... still waiting here as wel...
