Can dependent work in Australia under 457 visa

Hi ,
My husband has got an offer at Brisbane-Australia and he is moving next month.He has got 457 temporary business visa for one year.I'm working for a software company in my home country.I wish to work and can I work as dependent there?.please let me know.

Last time I lost points for work experience.
They asked for a letter listing the job responsibilities.That was the missing one.but I earned points for education (without NARIC) and for earnings also I got points.
