Dear Umbala
Good luck for your ILR. As it's tommorrow only, there is nothing much you can do now. I would suggest, be prepared with an answer if they do ask about the missing P60s. Let me know how it goes.

Dear friends, I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help with my case as explained below. I came to the UK on Work Permit in 2006. My company used to pay full salary & taxes in India during this time. I just used to receive living allowance (per diem) in the UK, so I understand they may have ...

You can apply. But I guess your wife will get extension under marriage visa. When she's finished 2 yrs in UK, she can apply for ILR.

ILR visa stamping date for postal applications?

Hi All, I have a question regarding the ILR stamping date on your passport. When someone applies for an ILR through post and finally gets ILR after 90 days, what date is stamped on the passport visa? Is it the date when the application was originally received by Home Office or Is it the date Home Of...

Thanks vinny. That makes sense. My understanding is whether you are on Tier 1/HSMP or WP, you would use single SET O for settlement application. In that case there is nothing in the SET O regarding how long the spouse has been staying in UK or how long they have been married to. So how would HO know?

I just got an update from my friend. He filled one application SET O, where he would enter his and his wife's details. There are no questions in SET O regarding, how long the spouse has been staying in the UK etc , unlike SET M. As per the above clarification, I guess the below situation is valid on...

Hi, One of my friends is on WP. He got married in Dec-07. His wife entered UK around Jun-08. He and his wife got ILR in Feb-09. I could not understand how his wife managed to get ILR, as she's married for just over a year and she's been in UK for less than 2 years. Can someone explain how this happe...

Great. Thanks so much for the clarification. My qualification is listed in self-assessment tool. I do not have any preference for Tier1 ext over HSMP old style ext. It's just that Tier1 ext requirements are stated clearly. I am not sure what will be ext requirements for HSMP old style. I ll wait and...

Hi sushdmehta,
Thanks a lot for the info. I got answers to first post in the forums else where.

But I may prefer to with Tier 1 (as I get enough points) instead of Old HSMP route, unless there is any advantage.

So, can you let me know if I still require to take English language test?

Many thx
Raghu

How soon should I apply for Tier 1 (General) extension?

Dear All, I am currently under HSMP visa. It's due to expire on 13-Nov-2008. I would like to show 12 months income from 30-June-2007 till 30-June-2008 for the extension purpose. So, I would like to know if I can apply for extension under Tier1 sometime next month. Or is it better to apply in Oct-200...
