if you apply SAR you can see what they wrote to your previous applications. they normally write in-time application Yes/No or out-of-time-application Yes/No.

this will give you better idea.

if there is any change such as reconsideration or JR which can lead to LTR and then apply for ILR?

in my view u should goto good barrister to look into your case.

did you tell them your intention and to hold your application as u planning to vary this application to ILR application that's is why you asking for passport to sit into the exam?

did you appeal on refusal?

if u appeal on decision of your second application, u can wait for outcome. and put your energy on it. keep faith to God and when u succeeded you good to go for applying ILR (my personal opinion i am not legal person)

also try to get SAR

I believe u did not meet 2 year job requirement, your this ilr may lead of extension which I believe u don’t want as u mentioned above that u qualify for long residency

If u given chance to vary to LR u should consider varying to LR

this is just guidance u should goto good lawyer who has knowledge of such cases, they normally see your immigration history and represent your case accordingly.

Zimba gives you clear reply think and act.

You can check with the tribunal if your appeal was considered out-of-time. Was there a reason the appeal was filed late ?

if you stress you will lose your fight back chance. find good barrister and do the nessessary.

Sorry brother I think I didn’t explain you properly. Actually previous when I said to you the dates of appeal when they refused in 2017 24th refused and I applied FLRFP in 9th of March 2017 means within 14 days of overstay period and it was granted in 2019. But I had another gap which was in 2015. ...

on top as per above link u need permission from your landlord for running company from home, if you already submitted rental agreement. and did not provided permission agreement you may consider supplying that too. again these all are just a guide best is to speak firm dealing with immigration rules...
