Re: URGENT - Overstay after my family permit expires?

Hi Viety,

May I ask did you get your passport back upon receiving the COA? Or do you have to apply separately to get it back? Also how long (working days) did it take for you to get the COA (with right to work?)?

Thanks!

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Thank you! He's already coming next week to visit again, but this time we are very happy we get to leave together. UKVI replied only to acknowledge and confirm an escalation has been made, each time I emailed. They took about 24-72hours to reply to my email request. They did not reply automatically ...

Hi edwinlobo, All the best! Hope you can come back to the thread to update your result. My timeline and location are similar to yours, with my application a month later than yours. Hello everyone, Just giving an update. I applied for a EEA FP on July 5th. Finally today I received my passport back with the FP. My husband called from the UK and had my case escalated. Re: EEA Family Permit - "not straightforward"?

Thank you, Richard. We tried to simply follow the rules on applying (non-EEA to be outside of the UK, spouse inside of the UK actively exercising his treaty rights). We were not aware we could get this "EEA Regulations stamp" at the border. Is that the actual name of this entry stamp? Woul...

EEA Family Permit - "not straightforward"?

Dear All, I noticed many in the Sheffield Visa thread have spoken about receiving a "processing of your application has not been straightforward" email. Unfortunately, I received one today too and I am frankly, quite taken aback by this. What exactly does this mean? Prior to joining this f...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Hi

Can anyone share the contact number for Home Office for such EEA Family Permit applications?
This would be the number to call from inside the UK as my husband (the EEA national) would like to call from inside the UK to enquire on my application.

Hello Degtom, Thank you so much! Actually, in our previous attempt, VFS Lahore Office did not scan our document and return the original document by saying: it is not required. Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Hi degtom, EEA Family permit comes under the non-settlement category. All the documents are scanned in Visa Application Centre in the country of origin and then everything is processed in the Sheffield Visa Office in the UK. You don't have to send anything through. Hope this helps! All the best! Th...
