I think it is still not clear the total time limit for work permit holder allowed to stay outside of UK under new system.I heard that it was 6 months under old rules and i dont whether this was include
business reasons absent ?

What about spouse ,are they sam condition as a dependant?

THANKS FOR EVERYONE FOR HELP IN ADVANCE 1- I HAVE 5 YEARS WORK PERMIT SINCE 2002 JANUARY so IS NEW System (point system) will effect me? 2- Last 4 years my absent under work-permit around 6 months ,1.5 mothns and another 1.5 and 89days! which was in last summer and this year i need to be stay overse...

THANKS FOR YOUR EFERTS We should act together , dont bother what you hear but we should take legal action against home office together or indiviually ,if we not defend our right in first place againts the decision which was time limit extension from 4 years to 5 years we can loose every right accord...

Thanks for info but as far as i learned from IND webpage that if you have 5 years work-permit visa already so new changes will not effect you but if you have a work permit less then qualify period which less 5 years for indefinite stay already ,unfortunatly you have a problem because of new point sy...
