If UKVI needs to contact me for any documents

Hi all,
If UKVI needs to contact me for any documents or for any info, how do they contact - by email or letter? I have applied for BC and I keep checking my mail box & my email folder for updates. It's is worrying to not know what's happening with the application.

Thanks.

Re: No receipt by HO/UKVI or email confirmation

Howeve...

But hasn't filed for 2016-17 yet. Is it advisable to file self assessment taxes before he goes for the appt date or it's fine as he...

Hi, I applied on 16th. I haven't received any email with the confirmation of my application or any correspondence from UKVI. It makes me nervous. I applied via NCS. What should I do ?

Re: english language for my wife -joint application

All applications are individual, i.e. wife applies in her own right. Easiest way would be to take a B1 language test (from the list of approved test centres), or If the course was taught in English she may be able to obtain a letter from the uni confirming this plus NARIC certification. B1 and NARI...
