Hello, I was just wondering if I can ask anywhere for status update on my application for BRP replacement card (which I have lost). I submitted the biometric data via IDV app (due to Covid) on 11 May 2021, now it has been a total of 9 weeks of waiting. I haven't heard back from UKVI. Please let me ...

Lost BRP Card

Hi,

i have lost my BRP and have booked appointment for biometrics. From your experience, can you please share how long can it take to get the replacement?

Does this mean i cannot travel anywhere until i receive my new card?

Thanks,

Hamza

Re: Tier2 General to ILR Application

Hi,

I am just completing my ILR application and i am required to provide evidence of immigration status in UK.

Will this be related to my Tier 2 only and can i provide my previous Tier 2 BRP along with current to support this?

Many thanks,
Hamza

Re: Tier2 General to ILR Application

I cannot find a letter relating to previous employer.

Can you please confirm if the following information should be enough?
- period I was employed
- job title
- list of absences

Is there anything else I’m missing that must be included?

Many thanks again

Re: Tier2 General to ILR Application

Many thanks for confirming. I have another query and hopefully my last.

What else does the letter from my 'previous' employer should include apart from the absence holidays i.e position, period, salary etc?. Is there a template for previous employer letter?

Re: Tier2 General to ILR Application

Many thanks for your reply. This means I do not need to mention this on any of the absence letters from the employers, just only on the online application form?
