Dependent travelling with spouse - asking for passport number

Hi all, so I'm helping a family friend apply for his wife's spouse visa and had a question. He has applied for his son's British passport from overseas (in Pakistan) and wants to submit his wife's spouse visa application too. However there is a question about dependents travelling with the spouse. W...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

1. Perhaps if members actually bothered to read the forum rules and guidance, things might be clearer for them, instead of just willy nilly posting for the sake of posting. 2. Don't assume that the moderators have NOT been through the immigration journey ourselves and that we don't understand. Seem...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Not really, simply click on a users name and it brings up their posting history. The piece I quoted was from a timeline topic and took less than a minute to find. It is not rocket science! This is why these topics such as this one become so low value and tedious and end up running into 100s of 1000...

Not sure why you assume it is an FLR(FP) application. All you had to do was look at users previous posts.
He/she would have had to go back quiet a bit to find that post. Probably easier to ask again and I'm sure many other people were thinking the same question.

Options for IF the spouse visa application is rejected...

It's always good to have your options weighed out so i'm just throwing this one in there although I'm hoping visa will be granted inshAllah as it's a pretty straight forward case. In the event of a refusal, if you decide to appeal against the decision - does the sponsor need to show more employment ...

It means that they might change their mind about the refusal. Good luck! Hopefully the visa will be granted this time :)

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hi guys, Received my passport today. Unfortunately, visa was not granted because they need more proof of my husband's income (over £22k). We have the right to appeal and will be doing so in the next couple of weeks. At least we all know the hold is off now. Good luck to everyone on here! So sorry t...

Re: WIll 2year B.com from Pakistan meet english?

I don't think a 2 year B.com will meet the english requirement. However you will need to get certification from NARIC in order to satisfy the ECO from http://ecctis.co.uk/visas%20and%20nationality/

However, I would suggest it may be better to just do the appropriate english test.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hi guys, I applied on 17th of March for a spouse visa in the UK. Never received a letter or "on hold" email but today i checked my status (as everyday) and my case ID till yesterday was not recognised but today has been changed to decided. I checked with the IHS no (just to be sure) and i...

You should join this forums Facebook group, (type this forums name in fb search box) it's active and everyone posts questions on there for suggestions and whatnot. Re: Quick review of docs being sent to Sheffield..

Received all documents back today. Literally ALL documents. Even the applicant's passport size photos :/ I'm pretty concerned that they may have missed out something by the state all the documents are in. I know receiving documents back is a norm, but do they send back every single document? Even On...

Re: UK HOME OFFICE REQUEST FOR MORE INFO

I'm struggling here a bit. Do you want your wife to receive her UK spouse visa? If so, you need to provide the UKVI with all the documents they require in order to convince them that your wife should be granted a spouse visa. Whether you think that they are the government or whether you think they d...

Nope, We decided not to as by reading all stuff on here and other boards, decided it wouldn't be worth the extra money as there is no real guarantee. Good luck with your application. Keep us posted. Oh okay cool. I will do and you too. I'll be posting off all the docs on Thursday inshAllah. 1) Spon...

I totally agree with you its very confusing, and a bit of a minefield to get your head around everything. :| Yeh, I would have sent the paperwork off last week too but ran into a last minute issue with education certificated. Re: Quick review of docs being sent to Sheffield..

1) The Sponsorship undertaking form is not required for a Spouse Visa 2) Yes you need to include, passport pics, apparently only 1 but I included 2. I put them in a small envelope (so they wouldn't get lost) and attached to application form with a paperclip. 3) You mention Chatlogs from WhatsApp - ...

Re: Question about wife's name and address on nikkah nama

No we didn't do priority, just standard. But what gets me is when we applied the timescales were 60 days and then 90 days. On June the 1st they have added 120 days to the timescales. I have also found out that if you have £10k to spare, they will come to you and give you a desicion at the end of th...

As the person receiving the document may not be able to read it and as it is submitted as evidence, it needs to be in a language they understand. We had a...
