I think most likely you have won the case. What are the reasons for it, only HO can tell. But keep us posted about your case.
I hope so, but I don't trust the HO with anything. Will keep you posted. Just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation.

Bumping this back up the page. Has anyone had an appeal withdrawn on the day of the hearing?

Appeal Withdrawn - What now?

Hello, So my husband's appeal went to court on Friday 22nd. When we got to the court, his case was first to be heard and the HO Presenting Officer withdrew the case. The judge explained that there was no longer a decision for us to appeal against so the appeal would not be heard. What happens now? I...

Appeal or Application

Hello All,

After a refusal, can you submit a new application if an appeal is pending? I have been given conflicting advice.

Thanks.

Switching from EU route to UK law

Hi everyone, I have asked this previously, but didn't get much response and can't find my original post now  Anyway, I'm looking for information on switching from the EU route (surinder singh) into UK law. My husband was refused his UKRC this year and we are looking at alternative options whil...

10 Year Partner to 5 Year Partner Route

Does anyone know WHEN you can switch from the 10 year route to the 5 year route? Once you meet the requirements, do you have to wait until the 2.5 year renewal stage or can you apply as soon as you meet the requirements?

Thanks.

EEA FAMILY PERMIT?

If you enter the UK on an EEA Family Permit issued under Regulation 9, do either of these apply: You cannot be a visitor. You cannot be in the UK with valid leave granted for a period of 6 months or less. The second one is the one I question most as the EEA Family Permit has a 6 month duration on it...

Re: FLR FP - Possible?

Did SS. Husband was refused UKRC. We have a baby (British) and my mother is unwell. Leaving the UK is not really an option as it would mean my husband would lose his job and I'd have to give mine up to look after the baby and therefore losing my salary which meets the financial requirement. My husba...

FLR FP - Possible?

Hello,

My husband and I have been advised by our solicitor to go for FLR FP based on him being married to me and us having a daughter (British citizen).

I've heard that FLR FP is virtually impossible. Is this actually the case?

Thanks.

FLR (FP) Partner Route

Hello,

Can you switch from FLR (FP) to 5-year partner route IF FLR (FP) is granted outside of the rules?

Thanks.

Re: if EEA2 refused. can we stay or re apply?

I know someone who applied for FLR (M) from within the UK after a UKRC refusal. They applied on the premium service and it was granted. I have been trying to find out about this too as I am interested in switching, but she is the only person I know who has done this so I'm wondering if it was just a...

Complain to Home Office

Has anyone ever complained to the Home Office? What was the reason for your complaint? What was the outcome? I am seriously considering complaining due to the nature of the refusal we recently received. Not because we were refused, but because they literally didn't take any of our evidence into acco...

Re: URGENT: Switch from EU to UK Immigration Rules

We applied properly in the first place for EEA (FM). This was refused, but the refusal is full of inaccuracies and wrongful application of EU law. I can apply again under this route, but due to the timeframe, we are looking to switch into UK immigration law as it states we can on the refusal letter....

Yes, I do too but I only know of one person so far. It's a lot of money to lose. To be honest, it's probably the same person as you know.

Re: Surinder singh circumventing law

We meet everything for FLR (M), but still not sure what his legal status in the UK currently is and this is crucial to the application.

Re: Surinder singh circumventing law

Agreed, but the timeframe is ridiculous and with a 7 month old baby who hasn't met her family abroad, we are considering FLR (M) in order to avoid this drawn out process.

URGENT: Switch from EU to UK Immigration Rules

My husband has recently been refused a UKRC and we are now considering going down the route of FLR (M). It mentions that he can apply under this route on his refusal notice, but I'm getting conflicting information. Entered UK July 2016 on EEA FP - expiry Jan 2017. Applied for UKRC September 2016. Re...

I'm in exactly the same position. Looking for exactly the same information as would be happy to go down the route of FLR (M) providing we qualify.

Re: Surinder singh circumventing law

My husband and I are currently in a similar situation. Husband is a non-EU and we were in Malta for 5 months. Returned on EEA FP (I was pregnant at the time and made them aware of this when we applied for FP). Applied for UKRC September 2016 and refused May 2017 stating circumventing. We would happi...
